Tinn 0.2.0 ships today.
New
- Custom in-app print preview. Print now opens a Tinn-branded preview window instead of the browser dialog. A side drawer covers paper size, margins, typography, header and footer, page numbers, watermark, and a cover page with a custom note. Long projects paginate cleanly: room and category titles stay with their first product, and Save as PDF writes a true vector PDF through your OS file picker.
- Unlimited projects on Free. The Free plan no longer caps project count. Boards per project, cross-device sync, and the cloud clip library stay on Studio.
- Made-with-Tinn watermark on Free PDFs. PDFs exported on the Free plan now carry a small “Made with Tinn” credit in the page margin. Studio exports are unchanged: no watermark, no margin reserved for one.
Improved
- Font Manager. Download failures show a clear retry state. Each failure goes to Sentry so the underlying cause gets fixed faster.
- Project picker. The brand mark and halo on the home screen sit on a calmer neutral graphite. The halo is a whisper now, not a glow.
- App copy. Every user-facing string went through a plain-language pass: shorter, more direct, fewer commas.
Fixed
- DevTools no longer auto-opens on launch. Leftover from a debugging session that should have come out earlier.
- Room and category titles no longer orphan at the bottom of a page on PDF export.
- Page margins on PDF export are bigger, and the watermark sits in its own reserved band rather than crowding the content.
- Long projects paginate correctly in PDF export. The layout chain was
resetting against
100vhand dropping pages.
How to update
If Tinn is installed, the auto-updater prompts you on next launch. New here? Download from the Download page. Free is unlimited on projects and gets the small margin credit on PDF export; Studio removes it.
