Tinn 0.2.4

A polish release. The website got a design system refresh underneath, the FAQ and pricing copy got sharper, nothing changed about how the app works or what you pay.

Tinn 0.2.4 ships today.

v0.2.4 is a polish release. The desktop app behaves the same as v0.2.3; this round of work happened on tinn.app. The website got a quiet design refresh, and the FAQ and pricing copy got a brand-voice pass at the same time.

What’s new

  • A more cohesive design system across tinn.app. Nine shared primitives now sit underneath the marketing pages, all driving from the same tokens for spacing, radii, motion, and colour. Pages that reuse a component now actually share its render.
  • Sign-in and dashboard layouts flex wider when forms need more room. Sets up the new auth pages coming next phase.

Improved

  • Focus rings match the brand. Every focusable control on the marketing site shows a flame-coloured outline on keyboard navigation, with proper contrast on both light surfaces and the dark ink panels.
  • FAQ and pricing copy reads a little sharper. Numbers spelled out, active voice, fewer commas. A new FAQ entry covers the “Made with Tinn” watermark on Free PDFs.

Behind the scenes

The token file (tokens.css) got a cleanup: --success repainted for contrast, --info separated from --ink-secondary, --ff-sans defined where it had been implicit. None of this changes existing pages; it makes the next round of work cleaner.

How to update

If Tinn is already installed, the auto-updater will prompt you on next launch. New here? Download from the Download page.
